Skipping, in class, and trying not to freak out.
My first suicide bombing here. It was in the other side of the central bus station, so very close (50 meters) to where I take the bus from every other day.
It will take a few hours to hear from my friends. There are many of them here.
Oh, Shir, that's terrifying. I'm so glad you're safe! May your friends all be safe as well.
All comfort and ~ma for your friends, Shir.
Thanks for checking in, Shir. I thought of you right away.
I'm hearing them in the Swedish Chef's voice in my head.
I think my life would be more amusing if I heard everything in his voice.
You should come visit me. Both my son & husband are prone to breaking out into fairly respectable Swedish Chef voices (is that an oxymoron?) at the drop of a hat.
It makes driving a bit of an adventure, sometimes.
Shir, I'm glad you checked in-- much ~ma that your friends are safe.
shir , thanks for checking in . ma~~~~
I'm glad you're safe, Shir.
Kristin, that ROCKS! And so do you, and it's nice they know it.
Glad you are safe, Shir. Hope you heard from your friends soon.
I'm more relaxed now. Didn't hear from everyone (and closed my cell phone during a seminar), but the stress faded after an hour or so.
I'm used to rockets. I can live with that. This is (bombings) a new genre to experience from this close.
Oh, also - this wasn't a suicide bombing. Just a bombing.
50 fucking meters from my every other day bus stop, fuck it.
