Lorne: Snakes? Uh-huh. And they came out of your what? Okay. Okay, well, did they get up there themselves or is this part of a, you know, a thing? No, I'm not judging...Do we fight snakes? Angel: Only if they're giant. Or demons. Or giant demons. Are they giant demon snakes? Lorne: Well, unless this guy's 30 feet tall, I'm thinking they're of the garden variety.

'Lineage'

Spike's Bitches 46: Don't I get a cookie?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Compassionately intolerant

I'll have to give it a try, then see which of the three works the best.

I am assuming that a lack of discomfort isn't on the menu, but reduced symptoms can be achieved. So far, Claritin gets a 0 from my system and Zyrtek gets a 4 out of 10.

Jeez, with all this outlay and scrutiny, I should get a grant!

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Gee, thanks, husband! I wish you peace nonetheless, Dana.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

For those of you who have vague memories of sixties and seventies variety shows being slightly demented, I offer the evidence of Elizabeth Montgomery hosting Hollywood Palace in 1966.

Our wings are not tired

My taste buds need to interrupt the conversation to let you all know how much they love Zankou Chicken.

This is not a new thing, it's a small chain in LA that I love, but I grabbed takeout from Zankou for dinner tonight and am again reminded of how good it is.

Carry on.

brillig

I saw that this Cope was a new formula. According to one reviewer, the old stuff was aspirin and caffeine--which I should have no problem finding.

But thank you for finding it, meara!

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Some day I will go to bed before midnight on the night before a trip... but not today. Signed, stuff in piles all over and not yet packed.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

That's all my new migraine med (which is technically an *old* migraine med, in that it's been around for a long time; it's just new to *me*) is -- aspirin, caffeine, and butalbital, which is a short-acting barbiturate.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

This makes me smile, ND. I love Zankou but I don't often manage to convince the DH to pick some up on his way home.

Mmm, Zankou.

OMG, still packing. I can't find this tiny little bottle of awesome eggplant nail polish to take with me (Wet N Wild Night Owl) and it's driving me bonkers, and I just need to let it go and finish packing, but every few minutes I check somewhere else to see if it's there.

eta I also can't find my damn Epipen, which I should be more worried about but I've never had to use the damn thing, thankfully, and I've checked the few places it *should* be.

"We're all stories, in the end. Just make it a good one, eh?"

Teppy, re migraine meds - in the UK you can get a migraine drug over the counter that I completely love - [link] . It's acetaminophen (only we call that 'paracetamol' which is much easier to spell) plus codeine and an antihistamine. The added antihistamine is what really helps me. Have you tried adding a OTC antihist to your migraine medication?
