I happen to be very biteable, pal. I'm moist and delicious.

Spike's Bitches 46: Don't I get a cookie?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

What excellent timing. Congrats, Nilly!

"And that's why God Almighty gave us fire insurance and the public defender".

Nilly sends her love (and oh, 2 minutes after I posted here, she checked with me to make sure I was telling you the news. Births of Buffistas should only happen in wireless hospitals, I tell you).

There are already pictures, but it'll take them few days to move them to a computer.

Excellent! We must prove the existence of Pi-baby.

Scola! With actual, 100% Scola pixels!

That doesn't really have to do with anything, but I just needed to tell Scola that I missed him.

That's the pain / That cuts a straight line down through the heart / We call it love

PiBaby!!!! Aw, man, that's just fantastic news, and I can't wait to see the pictures to prove it. Congratulations and all good wishes to Nilly and Khusband!

"We're all stories, in the end. Just make it a good one, eh?"

NillyBaby! Congrats to Nilly and Khusband!

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

I appreciate all the thoughtful, er, thoughts posted after I'd logged off. Had a busy weekend and it seems we've moved on to wonderful news from Nilly! Yay!

Also, I skimmed over about 400 messages, but I did see that there was some need for ~ma, so consider it sent.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

I'm trying to not get too optimistic, because I don't want my hopes to be pummelled, but Tim just texted me the following a little bit ago:

"Talked to lawyer. He sounded optimistic. Would be happy to help get probation waived. Tell you more later."

I *think* if probation is totally waived, rather than transferred to another state, then ex's son can move right away (or as soon as the waiving is official). That is WAY more than I even dared to hope for.

We won't know anything until tomorrow morning, when ex's son is released from jail and meets with the probation officer (WITH the attorney).

I will bake him cookies for the drive to Texas, I will make him ham sandwiches and give him a cooler of Pepsi (and we're giving him the leftover almost-full big bag of dry food we had been feeding Chloe; we chose to not feed it to Kato because it's high-calorie and Kato is a BIG FAT MAN right now). I just want to see him and his dog headed (legally) out of town. Jesus God.

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

That does sound excellent, Teppy. I'll keep sending ~ma that it's what happens. ::wafts ~ma eastward::

Compassionately intolerant

All appendages crossed for the best possible outcome, Tep.

For everyone. And nice that Chloe's bequest will help out the other pooch.
