Giles: I jump out of the circle, jump back in, and, and, shake my gourd. Buffy: Hey, I think I know this ritual. The ancient shamans were next called upon to do the Hokey-Pokey and to turn themselves around.

'Dirty Girls'

Spike's Bitches 46: Don't I get a cookie?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

omnis, pursue. That's an order from a shy woman who can use M-16. - Shir

Yikes Anne, glad you are ok. Hope all you know is too.

ND, yes! I have to work next weekend (Thesis critique on Saturday, and strike on Sunday). Maybe an evening this week? I wanna hear all about the super skinny room.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Hi omnis!!! Good to see your pixels.

For all those slavering over corsets, I posted on their wall about the issue of not getting one free until four were in the cart and they said that shouldn't be happening and they'd get right on it.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Anne, I'm glad you are ok, and I hope that no one else was hurt.

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

As best as I can tell, the worst that happened was that my chimney cap has vanished. No trees down in my general vicinity, but lots of signal lights are out or missing.

I am also very thankful that I did not put my recycle bin out by the curb last night. While there's no major damage in my neighborhood, there sure is a mess.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

For all those slavering over corsets, I posted on their wall about the issue of not getting one free until four were in the cart and they said that shouldn't be happening and they'd get right on it.

Thanks for doing that -- I've been dithering over getting the pink one (especially since now my discretionary $ is likely going to be aimed at acupuncture), and since it's 2 for 3, waiting to see if The Boy wants to go in on it with me.

Tornado sirens woke me up around 5 a.m. (first, they were woven through the dream I had been having; whatever the dream scenario was prior to the siren, all of a sudden in the dream everyone was gathering up stuff and heading to the basement), and as soon as my brain woke up enough to realize it was indeed the tornado siren, honestly, the first thing I thought was, "Is this the same storm that Anne got?" Hand to god, that's what I thought, even before "Should I wake Tim up and get to the basement?"

Teppy, when I read the first part of your paragraph, I immediately wondered if it was the same storm.

Trust my rage

Just hearing about being woken up by tornado sirens gives me chills. I am singled I live on a mountain.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

McDonald’s oatmeal contains more sugar than a Snickers bar and only 10 fewer calories than a McDonald’s cheeseburger, and is 10 times more expensive than supermarket oatmeal: [link]

Compassionately intolerant

This is amazing. Makes me wonder who sits in a room thinking, 'let's take a staff-of-life food and turn it into rubbish for a buck! (or n x 10 bucks)

Punishingly Intricate

I'm interested specifically in migraines, but any experience is fine -- and did it work/what did you think of it?

I didn't go for anything specific, I just wanted to try it out and it was very relaxing. I'm dubious about claims that it would "cure" anything (I have a dubious personality!) but I think it could help alleviate symptoms especially pain-related ones. I have actually been thinking a lot about going back and seeing if it could help with my ongoing ankle pain situation.
