Atherton: Half the men in this room wish you were on their arm, tonight. Inara: Only half. I must be losing my indefinable allure.

Spike's Bitches 46: Don't I get a cookie?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Now tagless for your comfort.

You can enjoy it without Doctor Who, Teppy. The hand in the jar is an example of neat back story stuff but it's not vital to the plots of Torchwood.

not your mom's socks.

I think you can Steph.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

Steph, I watched Torchwood with pleasure without watching Dr. Who.

I did go on-line and hunt up a bit of backstory for a couple of shows, but the info just added to the story; I didn't NEED it.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Yeah, it's not like the Transporter movies where it would be madness to watch Transporter 2 before the first Transporter.

The status is NOT quo.

Holy crap. Just found out that our landlady (who has become a good friend) is adjusting her will so that if anything happens to her, this two-house property becomes ours. Granted, she's young and healthy and the house is 100% mortgaged at the moment, but still. HOLY CRAP. Hallmark doesn't have a "Thanks for giving us the house in the event of your untimely demise" card, but I kind of feel like I need one.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Wow, that's very cool, Pix.

Hallmark doesn't have a "Thanks for giving us the house in the event of your untimely demise" card, but I kind of feel like I need one.

There's probably a Someecard for it.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Pix, that's amazing. There you go, independent verification of how awesome you and ND are.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Oh, Pix, that's lovely.

There's probably a Someecard for it.

Or you could make your own.

Ironically, I doubt we could afford the mortgage (she bought at he height of the market, and I know we pay less in rent than she pays in mortgage), and we wouldn't be able to sell in this market, so that is one of many reasons why I hope it becomes a sweet gesture and nothing more. Still, such an incredible concept.

Compassionately intolerant

I feel the same way about the friend and her ex who made me guardian of their son should anything happen to them. I was appropriately humbled and then gulped a big gulp. Thankfully, he's nearly 21 and it is no longer an issue but, yeah. Big deal.

Oh, and I totally agree that this is s testament to your supreme awesomeness.
