I'm surprised how many of my high school friends have Facebook, considering they're British.
It's all my friends and colleagues ever seem to do. I quite often look around the office to see about twenty PhD students all playing Facebook Scrabble with the people opposite them.
Thank you so much, Steph. I will definitely look for those PearlsIC. My poor MiL has been completely miserable with this infection. And since her immune system is compromised, I want to do everything in our power to help her get better.
I know this must be an incredibly hard process for you, Burrell. It sounds as if you are doing all you can to be supportive of your MiL and your DH.
my british (adult) friends are the ones who forced me onto facebook with the lure of shared photos. it worked.
I'm on a probiotic right now to counteract the effects of the antibiotic I got put on to cure a suspected long-term sinus infection. My doctor got kind of a little scary on the topic, to be honest.

The sinus infection, or the probiotic? (Sinus infections always freak me out slightly, because your brain is RIGHT THERE.)
The probiotic. He talked about some kind of bug that seems to be emerging that's kept in check normally by some of the bacteria that the antibiotic will kill off. So I'm on an antibiotic twice a day, and a probiotic twice a day. It's turned into a complicated pill-taking schedule.
It never occurred to me to be freaked out by a sinus infection. Until now.
Heh--I was surprised to be talking facebook with the women I was working with this week--a Peruvian and a woman from costa rica.
I just took a bus tour of Lima, got more sunburnt (even though it's cloudy) and have 2 hours til the taxi picks me up for my flight. I should eat dinner but I'm not really hungry...
Oh my goddess, I'm gonna vomit. I finally just emailed my biological sister. For the first time ever.
Grant me the Serenity to not check my email forever and ever and ever.
Many thanks to Scrappy and my mom who both did their parts in giving me the courage to finally do it.
Sweet and sad
British soldier in Afghanistan proposes to his girlfriend on his monthly call home, but dialed the wrong number
So, the woman who got the voicemail took it to the Daily Telegraph and they are trying to find her.
