Spike's Bitches 46: Don't I get a cookie?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

ZenKitty, I found my copy at a library sale on Buck-a-bag day. I got nine other books. I'm pretty sure that was the best ten cents I've ever spent on a book.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

I found it! Under a bunch of gardening books. I'll start reading today.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

I know that Buffistae are exceptionally good at hitting up the Interwebs for research, but Tim does have a lot of ADD/ADHD links at hand, and he'd be more than happy to share them (via me, apparently his Miss Moneypenny). So let me know and I can hook you up. (I know a guy...)

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

My doctor called and said my vitamin D levels are low again, so I'm going back on the prescription of D for a while. Maybe if I can keep my iron and my D levels up at the same time I will actually have some energy. Please?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

You've just reminded me to take my last Vitamin D pill and get the prescription refilled. Once-a-week meds always escape me.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Glad I could help, ita. I have trouble remembering them too.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

What's different about prescription Vitamin D compared to the OTC stuff?

Still thinking about it, but I really don't do sunshine very well even when I am in a sunny place. A quick glance at the sun leaves me with new freckles and a burn.
