'Sleeper'

Spike's Bitches 46: Don't I get a cookie?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

eHarmony guy called me on Sunday night and we talked for a while. I'm thinking about calling him tonight. Too soon? Should I wait another day or two?

Well, I have no lovelife or game whatsoever, but I'd say if you feel like calling the guy call the guy.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

OK, I called him. He was busy with school stuff, but we talked for about ten minutes or so, and it was nice.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Hil, I second what Trudy said.

X-post.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Glad you called him! Now you need to wait to have him call you back. It's his turn to take a step in this dance.

Blergh.

I had a truly awesome weekend...today? Suck-o.

1) Bartleby is sick. Bad belly. Not life threatening, but super uncomfortable, I can tell.

2) I spent 40 minutes on the phone with a client's insurance company...this is why I don't accept insurance...getting a colossal run around. After two requests to speak to a supervisor, the rep suddenly realized that nothing was actually wrong and that I should be ignoring the 10 notices (the actual number) I have received in the mail from them. Greeaaaat.

3) One of the hospital bills that was supposed to have been covered weeks ago has gone into collections. While I'm not 100% sure, it appears that my attorney misled me about the order that things were supposed to occur and then dropped the ball majorly. If that isn't the case, then I'm getting screwed and may have to go back to square one.

I am grumptastic.

All is well that ends in pizza.

Due to the crap in everyone's lives right now, I am forced to post this:

No idea where it came from, originally

All is well that ends in pizza.

I was on my way to post this here, and I hit facebook, first, and now I feel like a dink for posting it there, first. Modifying it a bit, tho.

I have been exhausted since being forced to overnight in the hotel. I did not sleep soundly without my AVAPs-BiPap. I still had to work 10 hours the next day, and I'm not sure I performed well the last few.

For those who wondered: I had my meds with, just in case.

I was so exhausted today, I was singing "I'm So Tired" by the Beatles until I went and took a 3-1/2 hour nap this afternoon. When I got up I was feeling okay, a bit peckish, so I putted around a bit and then checked my glucose.

74.

I felt normal at a glucose level that was dangerously low. WTH, body?

I have now had: an orange, two pieces of ...toast, and a cup of delicious zesty pasta sauce-mushrooms-sausage stuff Andi made before work. It should be on top of pasta, but I had a glucose priority.

Gosh Daniel! I'm glad you are safe snow-wise, but eek about the glucose.

Take care of yourself!

And thanks for that gif. I just wish the hug was for me.

I had to climb over several snowbanks today, and slipped on the ice twice. My joints are protesting.

Danger is my middle name, only I spell it R. u. t. h. - Tina Belcher.

Ouch, Hil!

Glad you're ok, DCP.
