It's annoying me that the cop who closed it out never noted what the weapon actually was. One of my coworkers suggested a discus. I tried describing a hacksaw to the caller, thinking maybe that's what it was (first she said semicircle, then 2 semicircles together to make a circle.) Maybe it was an industrial size pizza cutter.

am also deciding if I need to Spend All The Money, and buy a DSLR. Which I've been wanting, but have no skillz to use. Or if I should just go with a similar-to-my-broken-one cheapo basic camera for under $200. hmmm.

meara, I'd love a DSLR. I suspect a good camera could aid in lack of skills. Scola might know a good one. He takes great pics.
My one experience calling 911 after seeing a crime led me to realize I could identify the gun (esp the fact that, dude, yes, gun) better than the suspect.
Would this be the incident I think it was?
