bonny fides! I'm looking forward to meeting you in DC. I think the other DCistas already have found out that I am a hugger, so fair warning.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Happy Birthday to Maria and Pix!
Happy birthday, Kristin! Happy birthday, Maria!
Happy birthdays, Kristin and Maria!
In unrelated news, I dislocated my toe. Ow.
Happy Birthdays, Kristin and Maria!
I'm re-watching S1 of Veronica Mars. Even the second time around, I still think the Logan/Veronica thing came totally out of the blue and made no sense. Also, Keith Mars is a BADASS. And my love for Weevil knows no bounds.
Also, they randomly re-"cast" the dog after the first few episodes, and that's just jarring.

Bring it on!
Hil, that sucks.
I'm watching a probably trashy French vampire flick in the hopes of improving my mood. If it fails, bedtime.
Hil, I hope it heals quickly for you.

If it doesn't make you any happier, at least you can be smug about watching foreign films.
I'm looking at menus for restaurants in Sarasota. I found a place that has a lot of options, but one of them is making me blink quite a bit. It's a vegan Cuban sandwich. Since a Cuban sandwich contains something like three different kinds of pork, this seems like a somewhat futile undertaking, although I know that I did notice a recipe in the vegan Latin cookbook I was looking through. But this one is served on rosemary foccacia. As far as I can tell, the only similarity to the traditional Cuban sandwich is the pickles and mustard.
