Um, well, we listened to aggressively cheerful music sung by people chosen for their ability to dance. Then we ate cookie dough, and talked about boys.

Giles ,'Get It Done'

Spike's Bitches 46: Don't I get a cookie?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I'm going to bring it up with my migraine specialist next time I see him. The nurses are vehemently in support. I know they hate working on me, even if they say they look forward to the challenge.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Several times, I've asked for a butterfly needle and the person has refused. They usually say it's because they need to take several vials and it would take too long with the butterfly needle. My veins are tiny and tend to slide around under the skin, and it's pretty tricky to get a regular needle into the vein and to get it to stay there while they change the vials.

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

I have new sneakers. This is worthy of note because my sisters have just signed of for the 3 day walk for breast cancer in SF. I have wanted to do it for awhile. Currently I have commited to trying to figure out if I can get the training in that I need to do this.

I must tiptoe into most commitments

"And that's why God Almighty gave us fire insurance and the public defender".

I have come to the conclusion that when trying to build an academic career (on in my case: when others' are making suggestions you can't refuse to and you're playing along), sex is something you only read about in fanfiction (that is, in the 10 minutes you have to yourself on the bus after finishing an article for class), and social life is the time you spend online with friends (between sending emails to professors).

Not that I'm complaining on my unbelievable academic luck (not sure if I've mentioned it, but now I'm the unofficial TA to Respected Professor (technicalities only, nothing fancy like grading and such - while I'm still learning for my B.A.)), and I squeeze a true social interaction every now and then, but man, I miss those things.

Started to watch more Buffy, though.
