Played with Kaylee. Sun came out, and I walked on my feet and heard with my ears. I ate the bits, the bits stayed down, and I work. I function like I'm a girl. I hate it because I know it'll go away. The sun goes dark and chaos has come again. Bits. Fluids. What am I?!

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

Yes, much iron~ma to you, sj. And if you get earwormed with "Iron Man" in the process, well, that's a small price to pay.

And finaly price quote~ma to Shir.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Thanks, everyone. I'm headed out for the tests in a little while. I'm feeling awful because I haven't eaten anything but clear liquids since 10:00 pm on Monday.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

Here's hoping sj & Shir both have good news.

I do! I'm home from my tests. Nothing abnormal showed up, but they took biopsies of some tissue just to be extra safe. I'm home now, a little loopy from the drugs and finally eating something!

My biggest problem is that I am running out of veins to stick an IV in. It took three people today before they finally stuck me in the thumb.

yuck! I hope they don't have to stick you again for a good long time.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Ooh, I hate getting stuck in the thumb. That really hurts.

It usually takes two people to get me. I try and encourage anyone who starts to stick it out, but they don't seem to want to.

I have another iron infusion on Thursday and the hopefully last one on Monday, so I need at least 2 more veins.
