I'm feeling too jittery to sleep.
Me too, but I know the reason for mine. Too much mountain dew today trying to get through the day after a night of 2 hours of sleep.
Spike ,'Potential'
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Turn off the computers, read something soothing and try to relax.
Kinda counter-productive.
True.
Man, antib's are kinda useful when you need them. I sort of forgot how much I liked breathing.

I'm pretty sure if I turn off the computer I am going to have an anxiety attack. Knowing the invisible people are right there helps. Although I think I am going to try to read for a bit.
Oh, then stave off the anxiety. That is totally more important.
Invisible people are here.
I'm invisible and here reading! Or something.
Went dancing. Had a good time. New drunk gay boy excessively complimented my eyes. Saw video with friends from SF which was v random. Good times n
Tomorrow I think I will go thrift shopping. I was feeling not into shopping but I need clothes, because my diet is not magically quick and none of mine fit. Thrift store it is. Maybe a quickie massage.
sj, how are you feeling this morning? Did you get any rest?

I feel hungover, which is not fair because I didn't drink any alcohol last night. I was finally falling asleep at about 4 AM last night when my upstairs neighbors decided it was time to have a huge argument. I fell asleep sometime after that and slept until about 9, so maybe 6 hours of sleep over the past 2 nights total. Tonight I have a family party, that I am really not feeling up to going to, but maybe if I can get in a small nap later...
I didn't bother getting a flu shot, because I never felt well enough to do so. And now, I suspect that getting a flu shot while taking heavy-duty antibiotics to deal with the cat-scratch fever? Kinda counter-productive.
I got a flu shot right after the very earliest symptoms of my cat-scratch fever showed up (didn't know it was CSF at the time; I just thought I'd pulled a muscle in my arm), and I've wondered many times since then if that was what pushed me over the edge into full-blown, super-unpleasant CSF. So, it's not a combo I'd recommend.
And eesh, I'm so sorry to hear that you've got CSF too! It's really no fun, is it? Which med(s) are you on? I just finished my fourth round of antibiotics and am really hoping against hope that I won't have to do another one. Won't find out until I can get the effing doctor's office to call me back, though...
I always get a flu shot and am glad I do. Last year, I got the regular one and the H1N1. I get it free at school.
I really want to know how to make that pear ginger cocktail. Calli, can you get the recipe from your friends??
I am exhausted today. I really shouldn't be. I only worked 2.5 days this week due to extreme blizzard.
Okay. Here's the thing, I have a total paranoia question. My left shoulder is still killing me, and the worrisome part is that it's not the muscle, it's the joint. I don't see how what I did at work could be causing this, but I also don't see how the flu shot could be. It feels like what I imagine arthritis would. She gave me the shot really high up on my shoulder, and I just wonder if it could have inflamed the joint somehow. Thoughts?
