Spike's Bitches 46: Don't I get a cookie?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

Oh, I know I'ma be seeing that bitch around this week.

Monday morning gronk. So far, looks like the precip hasn't started. Okeydoke; that means I don't have to scrape hell outta my car on a Monday morning. I'll take it.

My hair dried to a very nice shade of red. I am pleased.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

I'm becoming a person who posts about myself and runs away... sorry! I read everything, I promise I do, and I heart you all, I'm just busy and trying to stay focused... it's HARD. Like math, only harder.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

Well, the shit has already begun at the new gig. First, although I was offered an office on the faculty floor, I'm on the administrative floor (which is not a big deal, it's more that the boss made an offer, and then didn't come through. I'm not surprised, though).

And the big deal is that apparently there's some issue with the title he promised me, that I can't be a Director if I don't supervise people. I made it VERY clear that I would not accept a position that did not have a lateral title move (i.e. Assistant Director, or Special Assistant). And now, he's all "we'll see what we can do when I get back"

And let's not mention how he gave me FOUR DAYS notice before I had to report, and he's not even fucking HERE on the first day and didn't have the courtesy to let me know that ahead of time. ARGH.

Not boding well. But then, I knew that.

Oi. Can you look up what people like you are called at our other local law schools? Maybe they'd accept Senior/Special Project Manager?

Well, it's BS because I didn't supervise anyone at my old job, with the same title (although technically I was supposed to have an assistant). The problem is that getting a new job title created/approved is a nightmare, which is why I have the generic title that I do (Director of Special Projects). It seems to me that they can just have me supervise one of the admins or something, it's stupid.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Vortex, sorry to hear about all of the BS on your first day. Best of luck getting it all straightened out.

Can I have some ~ma for 12pm board time today? I am having my first iron infusion at that time, and I am very nervous.
