Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Dear New-ish Co-worker:

Remember the first time you worked with me, how you were so busy trying to convince me that you are already so awesome at this job that you could stand to teach me a thing or three? I don't suppose you remember me trying to explain a few things to you that I consider important enough to mention, but gave up because it was too hard to get more than three words in, edgewise? Yeah. That little thing you couldn't figure out today, that was one of the things you couldn't shut up long enough to hear.

I realize that your manner of constantly talking about how awesome you are as a worker, a student, and a mother, is your way of trying to get me to like you. But it isn't working out quite as effectively as you might hope.

No Strong Feelings of Any Kind For You,

Me

Occasionally I’m callous and strange

viaducts transport water, often from an uphill location to a downhill location. it is convenient to make the upper levels bridges, esp older viaducts no longer used for water movement.

What's the difference between a viaduct and an aquaduct? Or is a viaduct merely an aquaduct with the road added on top?

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

According to wikipedia, a viaduct is simply a bridge composed of several small spans.

And damn lucky to have your opinion be that mild.

The coworker in question has many virtues. However, she's talking too much. Telling me more than I want to know, rather emphatically. Trying too hard to impress. And everything is meant to be impressive. I don't dislike her, but I do not like her nearly as much as she must want, for all the ways she talks of herself.

I seem to have confused viaduct with aquaduct. I don't really know anything about "duct" structures beyond pretty pictures of crumbling Roman architecture. Right-o.

I chose hula hooping tonight AIWFG. We shall see how my body feels in the morning, already have some interesting bruises developing.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

I saw hula hoops at the store today and thought of you!
