Steph, with your recent Sheldon revelations you might appreciate this. We were watching Family Guy over the holidays and both my brother and sis were saying it was the funniest show ever made.
I was all "I like it enough but I don't know about funniest."
My brother gives me this weird look and says "I'm...kind of surprised to hear you say that. Because, you
are
Brian."
I couldn't really argue the point. Though I wanted to. And said so, acknowledging that that actually only strengthened their case.
Hopefully the links in my crosspost are fixed. (I linked to jpg that looked terrible. These will open in pdf)
Trying again after eliminating bad elements in my last post.
Please indulge my call for creative criticism of a piece I am working on. Which is better:
WITH a photo.
Or, WITHOUT.
I desperately need a non-dyslexic proofreading as well.
Any other comments will be gratefully received at my profile addy or in Bitches.
Many thanks!
I'm picturing him with a martini in one paw, wearing a Hefner-esque smoking jacket.
Totally! He is very schmoove with the ladies. He doesn't have a smoking jacket, but he DOES have white tie and tail.

Ahahaha! I love Brian. Despite the fact that Family Guy has turned into one continuous rape joke (with bonus trans* bashing!), I really liked the first few seasons.

"Can you provide peer-reviewed data to support that superlative?"
he DOES have white tie and tail.
Your B-boy is awesome.

Exactly!

And that's pretty much what I was thinking but not saying.
He doesn't have a smoking jacket,
He could have. Maybe just for Halloween.
Your B-boy is awesome.
Idn't he though?
Right now, he's schmooshed up behind me in my office chair, snoozing. This means, of course, that I'm perching on about a 3 inch ledge at the front of the chair. No mean feat for thisbackside, I can tell you that.
It's nice though, he's warm...and when he dreams, I get a magic-fingers massage!
Marilyn's funeral was this morning. I was on Baby Clara duty for the service, which was beautiful. My favorite part was when she was being wheeled out of the sanctuary, a church member played "The Pennsylvania Polka" as well as her other favorite polkas on Marilyn's accordian. I thought it was brilliant.
My other favorite part was the fact that the priest sounded JUST LIKE the priest from "Princess Bride".

This is fantastic.
It's those grace notes that reduce me to tears/goo at funerals.
WITH a photo. Or, WITHOUT.
This is my totally unhelpful advice. I always prefer this type of material without photo. In my experience my opinion is the complete opposite of the entire population, therefore; the with photo option is likely the best choice. Seriously, when it comes to marketing wisdom I seem to always be in the minority. This is why I stick to technical.

Isn't it awesome when the service really reflects the person's personality. Nice.
