Calli, I'm glad you're staying home today, too, especially because I just saw a car that looks just like yours in a bad accident on the way in to work today. I came into the thread to make sure it wasn't yours.
Also, feel better!
'War Stories'
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Oh, dear. No, I'm lying on the sofa with a cat across my chest. Pity about the other driver, though.
She is looking older, and I say that in a good way. Hubba hubba!
I know! She's not a waif anymore. If it weren't for her voice, I'm not sure I'd recognize her anymore. I think my Kinsey needle actually twitched.
BTW, has anyone heard from Maria? Did she ever get home last night?
Yeah, after about 13 hours on the road, poor thing.
Jeebus-- I was tweeting with her between hours 10 and 11 and I know she was ready to fall over and more by that point.
Oh man, poor Maria.
I've only been stuck on a highway once...because the GW Parkway was flooded...and it was not a pleasant experience.
Fortunately, it was a comfy rental car that I assumed was safe and I happened to be stopped under an overpass, which made it a LOT easier. Also, it was summer and not particularly cold.
I hope Maria thawed out quickly and got some decent rest.

Holy crap! I don't know how to feel about that. (I'll have to watch at home because my work computer is so old that it has vacuum tubes. [Not really. But almost.])
Women, I need some insight to either calm me down or spur me into action.
I mentioned upthread that I went to the CVS Minute Clinic on Tuesday to get an antibiotic (sulpha) for a uti.
Well, I thought I was feeling better yesterday but woke up last night feeling pretty much as bad as I did day one. I took my 5th dose (of 14) this morning but am still feeling anxious and burny.
Shouldn't I be feeling better by now?
Also, I didn't get a prescription for Uristat but bought the over the counter Uricalm with the same ingredient. It doesn't seem to be doing any good at all...which is worrying me. The dosage says not to take it more than 2 days, but that's 6 total doses and I've only taken 5 so far.
Not sure what else to do. Any thoughts?
