Kaylee: Is that him? Mal: That's the buffet table. Kaylee: Well how can we be sure, unless we question it?

'Shindig'

Spike's Bitches 46: Don't I get a cookie?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Hey Erin, how old is Mason?

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

He's 9, Hec.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

That sounds like a great idea, Erin. Now I wish I'd bought some extra postcards from Barcelona and Budapest for fun.

But I dooooo have a bunch of these cards I bought at the Legion of Honor. It's The Broken Pitcher, not anything related to the Bay Area, but it is FROM here.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Sending the prettiest Portland postcard from my stash.

I'm not sure the card matters so much as the getting of it.

And thanks, guys.

"We're all stories, in the end. Just make it a good one, eh?"

That's a beautiful pashmina, Andi.

Morning, all. We're making wedding lists. It's a bit stressful. But oh so exciting to be at the proper-planning stage! I need a dress. Um.

ETA: Erin, I can send a card from Nottingham, England.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

You people make me smile so much, with your card-stash talk, and your wedding planning.

Mason will be getting a card with a photo of Saguaro National Park from Minnesota. It's the last one I have, was holding it for something special. There will never be a better reason to use it.

"We're all stories, in the end. Just make it a good one, eh?"

I JUST GOT A LETTER SAYING THAT MY FUNDING FOR TEACHING SUPPORT WORKERS HAS BEEN APPROVED.

I nearly cried.

I need to buy The Girl something very lovely. Ideas welcome.
