Xander: Just once I'd like to run into a cult of bunny worshippers. Anya: Great. Thank you very much for those nightmares.

Spike's Bitches 46: Don't I get a cookie?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

I'm not sure, but maybe I should kill it before it spreads.

And none of us deserving the cruelty or the grace -- Leonard Cohen

So much ~ma for Pix and ND. I just wish there was more I could do from way over here.

Tep, I'm so sorry for your loss.

Job ~ma for your DH, beth.

Congrats, Seska!

Welcome back, smonster! I look forward to seeing you, and hearing all about your trip, and everything. I've got a lot to tell you, too. We've had all kinds of RL this past week and a half. And as you know, it didn't REALLY happen, until we talk about it, so. We'd better get on that.

I think I adequately skimmed through that. Maybe. I'm also trying to watch a Rubicon marathon with one eye, and I'm hella confused. I think it's a two-eye show.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

Welcome home, smonster. Well, home inasmuch as that's where your stuff is now. Good luck with the sorting.

Stephanie, you're so right--hot air balloons are a spirit lifter. Which is something you can use after everything you've been going through.

Teppy, I'm sorry for the loss of your uncle. It's just too much on top of everything else that you've had to handle lately. Tons of strength and peace to you, and a few boring months ahead.

bt, Happy Fathers' Day! Especially apt, as you seem to be one of the happier fathers I've known.

PixDesigns, you're in my thoughts, for what that's worth, many times, every day.

Bonny, I dislike sitting on frustration and seek resolution, so in your shoes, I'd knock on the door. But I'm also a gunshy dog, so I'd take Laura's suggestion and bring cookies. You can always throw them at the people to distract them if you have to run!

Oatmeal with ginger: the very best-ever jobma to beth's Matt. And congratulations, Seska and TG!

Happy Fathers' Day, bt! Thank you for your part in creating that darling ray of sunshine that your son brings to this world! He never fails to bring a smile to my face, and I am grateful.

Trust my rage

Th e balloons have been great. I can see them all lift off every morning from my bedroom.

Bonny, as someone who is having neighbor issues, I really recommend talking if you can ni hate that sort of thing but I think talking is the only way to make it not awkward in the future n

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

I'm not sure I would ever have the courage to go talk to a neighbor about a complaint by myself. I do think cookies are a great idea.

Teppy, sorry for your loss.

PixDesigns, how y'all doing today? Continued ~ma! Let me know if you want some company today. Give my cell a call.

Woke up this morning for kayaking. Drove down to Newport back bay. We usually paddle around for about an hour. But neither of us had a watch on today, and we ended up out for 90 minutes. Yup, arms are feeling 50% more tired.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Got up and was ruthless in the veggie garden for a couple of hours. Then we had brunch at a sad local diner in Burbank (I call it "Land of the Lost" as it's always full of depressed families and surly senior citizens).

Then we went and got a new TV!!!!!!1!!!! 58 motherfucking inches, baby! Big sale on plasma at Best Buy. It ended up being $1,200, and spending that much made us both blench, but we've been saving for this for almost two years. And, let's face it, we watch a lot of TV and DVDs.
