[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Sure, I'll let you guys know when I get it started. With probably the world's most boring name, like "Hillary's Vegan Food."

Kathy, is there any particular type of food or cooking that she's looking for or that she likes? I can probably recommend some cookbooks or blogs.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

I really don't know. I'll be talking to Mom later today, and I'll be sure to ask her. Thanks for the help!

One cookbook that I'd recommend for practically anyone is Vegan with a Vengeance. It's a good selection of all different sorts of stuff, most of it fairly simple to make, and just about everything I've tried from that book has been good. The same author has a longer book called Veganomicon which is really good, too, but it's got a lot more complicated recipes and things that might take forever, along with the simpler ones. She's also got a new low-fat one out called Appetite for Reduction, and I've been making a lot of things from that lately, and I've liked nearly all of it, but, since it is a weight loss cookbook, it doesn't have the fun stuff like pancakes and cookies that the others have.

"And that's why God Almighty gave us fire insurance and the public defender".

Hil, sounds like a great idea.

And I'm in favor that the words "vegan", "math" and "kosher" will be in the blog's title.

Discuss.

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

Vegan with a vengeance is really good. I got it out of our library and I think I only made one thing from it, but there was a lot of stuff that looked worth trying

Well, I don't really keep kosher. A lot of kosher people will eat stuff I make in my kitchen, since it won't have anything obviously non-kosher in it, but I don't look for a heksher on everything I buy, and my dishes probably wouldn't pass muster with most rabbis.

Oh, my bad. I was under the impression that you do keep kosher (I keep kosher by proxy of being vegetarian and living in Israel, but that's about it). Sorry.

"We're all stories, in the end. Just make it a good one, eh?"

I don't know what's wrong with me, but I'm having a ridiculously productive few days (for me, anyway, which isn't productive compared to most people, but is still something). I'm determined to finish reading this chapter of research before I go to bed. Three pages to go.

PT~ma, sj. I hope it goes well, and that the therapist is helpful and non-judgy.
