$180 for a sore throat?! Don't you have a Walgreen's with one of those Minute Clinics? Even w/o insurance, I think they're about $60. Still not awesome, but better than $1800.

Nah, the Walgreens here just has the pharmacy (which does immunizations, but that's pretty much it).

I've been sick as a dog since Thursday, so I wasn't around much. Feeling better now (hopefully enough to get to work tomorrow). Read everything, and had to tell you people again how awesomely cool and wonderful all of you are.

My right ear hurts all over my face. The doctor couldn't find anything wrong with the ear, so she gave me sulfa drugs for a possible sinus infection. Let's hope they work quickly without making me TOO sick.

Thanks, erin. I'll keep that in mind. Right now I am more worried about getting there finding the right area of a hospital I am wholely unfamiliar with and admitting how very out of shape I am.
