That's the thrill of living in the Hellmouth! There's a veritable cornucopia of fiends and devils and ghouls to engage ... Pardon me for finding the glass half-full.

Spike's Bitches 46: Don't I get a cookie?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"We're all stories, in the end. Just make it a good one, eh?"

I have a tea machine that heats the water to the right temperature for each type of tea. Genius.

Lapsang Souchong

That's good tea. Must dig out some of that.

DJ, that aunt sounds horrid. Hope you're OK.

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

I love Harney and Sons teas; in particular their Bangkok green tea and the Paris black tea.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

I am fine, just pissy about it. Well, and boggling that someone would do such a thing.

Always Anti-fascist!

Seska, no problem...good luck with all that. Don't drink much coffee or tea, but I have a cola habit. Daisy Jane, your aunt is being crude.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

I've been drinking an Earl Grey Rooibos blend lately. Caffeine-free, because I can't really deal with caffeine every morning, but I do want something warm.

Occasionally I’m callous and strange

Seska- wonderful news! ~ma that the good continues.

Smonster, health~ma (while also still hoarding some for myself.) I did manage to sleep 2 nights in a row with no chemical assistance so calling that good. tried for a good swim last night but there were mechanical problems at the pool...the hot tub was closed (boo) and the lap pool was 90 degrees. While i appreciate a warm pool, that's so warm i ended up doing a lot more backstroke that usual just to keep my face in the cooler air. Barely finished a mile before ripping off my new (very uncomfortable) goggles in disgust and joining a water aerobics class instead of more laps. Shoulda done it earlier, the delicate skin btwn my nose and eyes ACHES today like bruised from said jerky goggles. Wish i could find the receipt to return the things, but they have obviously been used.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

I'm refusing on principle to go to the first session, where a biologist is talking about the toxic properties of tea.

Ahahahahaha. Look, they're letting delusional people hold sessions.

Right now, tea is one of the few things keeping me upright and alert. I still love coffee, but I need to break up with it right now.

... huh. I should go drink some of the chocolate rose black tea that I made. That would be helpful.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Jilli, how are you doing?

Jilli, how are you doing?

Um, blank? Numb? Trying to accept that there's nothing I can do to fix things, so trying to concentrate on taking care of Dad and getting my ducks in a row to restart my day job on Monday?

I'm lurking around here because I love you people. And distraction is good.

No, I don't think I will - me, quoting Captain Steve Rogers, to all of 2020
