reminded me of David Sedaris's impression of Billie Holiday singing
"My baloney has a first name.../It's O-S-C-A-R..."
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

a friend who is an emergency room nurse says that the number one home injury he treats is senseless bagel debacles. Poor you!
I remember reading something about that. I remembered it as I was lying on the couch waiting for the nausea to pass.
quester, was it a slice or a puncture wound?
Kind of a combo. But it did and still is a little.
Bubble-wrap brackets to Steph and quester. I hope you two are much better now.
In other Opinion, unless planning a work out, I see nothing wrong with pancakes for lunch.
Just sayin'.
Teppy, do take care at the gym. When you are unconscious, it makes you an easier target for the zombies.
quester, I don't know what to say. I hope your thumb heals quickly.
Bagels should come with warning labels, i can't count how many scars i have from slicing the delicious thangs.
Jesus, don't you know guys know how to cut bagels without putting your hands in jeopardy?
You should not be cutting towards your flesh.
Use a long serrated knife. Like, you know, a bread knife. Hold the bagel upright between your thumb and middle finger. Insert blade under the bridge of your fingers and cut down, away from fingers, thumb webs and fleshy palms. None of which should be in the way of the cutting action.
Or, get one of those high speed bagel-cutting shooter dealies they have at Noah's.
OMG, this octopus chair is AMAZING
wow that might be the best chair in the history of chairs.
I accidentally watched a new show tonight and Caroline Dhavernas is in it! I think it's called "Off the Map" did anybody else catch it? Would it be discussed in procedurals?
flapjacks...
I forget who was looking for a referral to counseling in TN but a friend of my Mom's found
Cynthia Johnson, LCSW at 615-371-6107. She’s in Brentwood TN. If that city is not convenient, Cynthia could refer your daughter’s friend to a more local therapist. Hope this helps.
That's one awesome chair.
