Oh my gosh. I don't know what I would do without the support and recommendations I get from Buffistas!
It's such a great place to begin, or enrich, a discernment process about pretty much anything. That is true precisely because I trust the intelligence and good intentions of everyone who responds to a query.
In fact, I've seen more "YMMVs" here than anywhere else, ever. That is terrifically reassuring.

Very much this. My previous doctor always told me not to worry about new meds, and I read all the info that came with the drugs I would probably make myself a wreck. It's good to just get a general sense from people who have btdt.

This is a very good point. People here have good sense and are lovely. It's a wonderful combination.
Hells to the yeah. I'm glad it worked for tommy, but what a clusterfuck for my life.
Man, that stuff was NASTY for me. NASTY.
I cannot fully articulate the extent of its nasty.
Heh. Have any female takers had any luck with it? Because the few people I know who it worked for were all dudes.

Somebody please tell that I didn't forget to turn off and unplug the blow heater when I left the office today, and that I only think about it because of that infomercial in the radio. Thank you.
Trazadone made me a zombie, literally staggering around like the shuffling undead. Just....stupid and slow and TIRED.
Yet it didn't PUT ME ASLEEP. I still had insomnia, but I also had a sedative drug in my system. It was awful. Horrible.
Happily, ION I just had leftover roasted cauliflower from last night and it was so YUM. And I have a pot roast in the crock pot and may make a cobbler. Plus, I have rocked out on my article today. SNOW DAY WIN.
Also, it's still snowing here. I am (ever so) gently starting to entertain the possibility that there might...also be a snow day tomorrow. Maybe.
(Don't jinx it!)
Thanks, P-C.
And hey, btw, did you ever get to read that book I sent you?
Came home sick. Lord, I hope it's just a cold, but I'm worried it's flu or strep. It came on pretty fast, my throat is very sore, I feel like I have a fever (battery dead in thermometer). Hope I'm just being paranoid. And no, I didn't get a flu shot yet, mostly due to those two courses of prednisone. Uggh. My strategy with getting sick is come home before I'm totally miserable, on the theory that I'm probably most contagious and the hope that if I rest a lot at the beginning I'll be sick a shorter amount of time. Idk.
Coincidentally, just found out that because of abuses, we're only going to get 4 hrs sick time a month instead of 8, but now I get two weeks vacation time, so I guess it balances out.
Oh, and my coworker was fired this morning. He smelled it coming weeks ago, but I'm pretty sure he wasn't fired for the reason he thinks.
