Spike's Bitches 46: Don't I get a cookie?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Trust my rage

Thank you, both. Parental guilt is strong.

"We're all stories, in the end. Just make it a good one, eh?"

Ouch - I hope Frisco's toe is better soon, Nonian.

Trust my rage

Thanks, Seska. I'm actually curious to seen how long it will take to heal. Last year, on New Year's Eve, I dropped something on my big toe and it took almost exactly a year to get totally back to normal. This is probably a lot worse, and his whole toe, but I'm curious to see if he heals faster.

ION, I just got inside from shovelling. We have this driveway shaped like a Y, but with three prongs and our one neighbor always shovels the long, straight part. Still, it took me about 30 minutes to shovel our part and it was really cold! I so love that winter here comes in little bits.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

Erk. Sorry if I shouldn't be asking. I just like to have anecdotal evidence - largely because doctors won't tell me anything about these drugs.

No, you totally should. Anecdotal evidence in addition to research and talking to my docs helped me to pinpoint many things that did and didn't work for me.

I think Buffistas are a pretty informed bunch; it's been HUGELY helpful to have an atypical response to something, and find out you're not the only person to respond that way. (Trazadone, I'm looking at YOU.)

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

(Trazadone, I'm looking at YOU.)

What was your response to Trazadone?

"And that's why God Almighty gave us fire insurance and the public defender".

Oh, Nonian. I hope it'll get all better soon.

In other news: some lousy motherfucker took the copy of Nagel's View from Nowhere that I needed from the library before I could reach to it first.

Someone. Will. Pay.

I didn't mean to kill the thread with my blood thirsty revenge.

Look, a kitty!

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Seska, I like the Crazy Meds website. Anecdotal evidence and links to PI sheets (don't know what y'all call them). I think it's crazymeds.us.

I'm getting sick. Sore throat, exhausted snotty. Feh.

Had The Talk with Angry Girl today. I was right in suspecting that other stuff was lowering her frustration threshold. Fucking sucks to be poor, basically. She feels like quitting, I hope she doesn't. We'll see. Y'all's advice was very helpful, thanks. I stayed calm and kept reiterating my main points.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Hells to the yeah. I'm glad it worked for tommy, but what a clusterfuck for my life.

"We're all stories, in the end. Just make it a good one, eh?"

I didn't mean to kill the thread with my blood thirsty revenge.

People who take out the exact books that you need from the library deserve a very bloodthirsty fate.

Anecdotal evidence in addition to research and talking to my docs helped me to pinpoint many things that did and didn't work for me.

I used to have access to a lot of it, when I was on mental health support boards, but they weren't the healthiest places for me (this will not be true for everyone, of course). Buffistas seem a critically thoughtful lot when it comes to meds/treatment of all kinds. (I think I have all the people with EDS in the entire UK on twitter, so I'm set up for advice whenever I need a good physiotherapist.)
