I use White Sage and really like the smell but, yeah. I've smudged a few corporate client offices and felt bad about the lingering aroma. It's not for everyone.
My mom wasn't a very good hippie, clearly.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

mmm, i love the smell of burning sage. my dad brings me sage from the desert around the Jemez res whenever he visits. i've never tried using it for cooking, tho. bet it would be divine.

EBay.
Brand is Triloka "Global Shaman Smudge". Label says all herbs for the smudge wands are "gathered with great care and respect for the environment by Native Americans". I got a package of three several years ago.
check.
Somehow, I can picture some Indians having a huge laugh over getting white people to buy their uncle's sacred lawn clippings.
Looks like Triloka offers a variety of blends for smudging and other purposes. Here's the website: [link]
