I would be there right now.

Spike's Bitches 46: Don't I get a cookie?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Did y'all know there was Fernet Citrus?? They have it here! We tried it--not too different from regular. Slightly more ricola-esque.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Home.

No food. No wine. No fracking motivation. Sometimes a Trader Joe's within five minutes walking distance is just too far. I wonder if 6:26 is an acceptable bedtime. The cats are even stand off-ish because they were both in jail for a week.

omnis, pursue. That's an order from a shy woman who can use M-16. - Shir

U-verse totally flaked on me. Apparently my area isn't ready for the service. Total tease. Humbug. I miss U-verse!

ION - It seems my Aunt is out of the surgery. The hip got a couple pins, and the elbow didn't require all that much. She gets out of the hospital on Wednesday to go to a recovery center. And the story goes, she was in a booth at a diner, one that is slightly elevated, one step up. She was sliding to get out, and caught her foot on her jacket, "and next thing I know, I was crumpled up on the floor". Poor thing. Apparently she is in good spirits. (I say apparently, because nobody is calling me. Sometimes, being across the country really sucks). And while my brother was visiting, his wife was having some issues, so they left early to go to the inlaws place the next county away, and then she went to the ER up there with some Diverticulitis (I think). No word on what that situation is. That is all I know. I'm hoping it was nothing, and it's all passed. Fun times.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

Oh Cass, were I closer I would bring you food and wine and pile cats on you willy-nilly. The motivation you would still have to muster yourself, though.

Can you set an alarm and nap for 20-30 minutes? Long enough to relax but not hit REM, and not long enough to frell your tonight's sleep?

I assume once I go to bed, I will eventually have cats self-piling on me. If I can make it to eight and am still this sleepy, I am just going to bed. I'll take a four a.m. wake up if it means I get to sleep.

Tomorrow, I shop for foods.

Occasionally I’m callous and strange

I went to bed at 6pm 2 days ago and last night AIWFG. Only still awake right now cuz cats are still wet from bath time and i don't wanna turn off the heat till they're at least mostly dry.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Brrrrr...Woke up to no heat this morning, house at a balmy 55 degrees. Repairman is on the way, but we're all in the living room with the fireplace going and bundled up in many many layers.

Happy Belated Christmas, everyone!!

Ann, that's a ferret.

Bundled up in the living room with a fireplace going is nice, but not when it's because your only other option is freezing. We did the gather-around-the-oven-in-the-kitchen thing a few times when I was a kid. My parents would hang quilts over the doorways to keep the heat in.
