I finally made it to the homestead, after a longer than expected pit stop at my beloved indie video store that is finally giving in to the inevitable. So long and thanks for all the fish, Visart.
Now for drinks, snacks, and children's Christmas stories.
I am currently holding a wake for Visart on my facebook page. Visart Video: former employer, Greatest Video Store Ever, home of the best cult section, and in the pre-Netflix days, an actual Scene in our little town. Lines out the door, people bringing their dogs, a place to see and be seen. ::sniff::
I just ate 4 mini artichokes (steamed with fresh lemon and garlic) and am still hungry! Def on the mend.
We got Indian food for dinner, and now I'm having coconut ice cream. Low-key and yum.

We have had the lowest-key Christmas ever. Owen's playing with Legos in his room, Liv is frosting some cookies for Santa, DH is watching TV and I'm wrapping up some ebay auctions.
Oh, and thanks, Spidra. I feel kind of like a hypocrite, because I belong to Netflix, too, but I want everything in my town to stay the same, logic be damned!
