Usually mine get bought, stamps get bought, and then nothing... It's only TCG prodding me that we should get them done that got them done at all this year. He thinks we should have done them earlier, but then again the only person he had to Christmas shop for was me while I was busy shopping for everyone else.

Stayed home from a meetup last night because I was afraid I was getting the flu. Given how I feel this am, I think it was more painful RSI stuff. That is, I'm having involuntary muscle contractions in my neck and those small sub-surface neck muscles are clamping down on nerve and vascular flow, causing pain in the neck and head on top of my usual bad RSI places. So that translated into bad headaches and even eye ache that I was fearing was an oncoming flu. I had to give up the party, though, because I wasn't sure and it would have been mean to expose other people to flu.
