I'm going to page my regular doc in about half an hour, see what she says. I'm pretty damn miserable. Not that steroids will do a whole lot. I think I'll put some oatmeal in a sock and dab.

Spike's Bitches 46: Don't I get a cookie?
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
OMG BEST CLINIC EVAH. The doc on call is going to see me at 11 am. She's not even my regular doctor!!! Halle-freaking-lujah.
Oh, good. I was gonna yell at your to get yer ass to urgent care now, when p.i. gets near the eyes, or mucous membranes.
Ah, it's a bright and sunny day here...and we got more snow than expected, and it's 10, with a wind chill of -20. WONDERFUL.
ETA: Although, upon reading the news, I can't complain about our measly 4". The Metrodome roof collasped? Jesus.
smonster, I hope your doctor gives you something that helps.
My brother in North Minneapolis got 17 inches of snow.
Anyone hear from Andi and Daniel? I've been hoping he made it home okay.
Nebber mind.
Saw that Andi was posting.
Haven't had coffee yet.
Brayne ded.
For the vampire lovers who are also fans of goofy gag gifts, I present to you, the Count Ketchup Bottle Topper.
Who comes UP with these things?
{{{{Smonster}}}} I hope the doctor can help. Relief~ma to you.
Is that some sort of white shoes after labor day thing? No custard before May?
Nope, just when TCG and I plan on going to England, where there will hopefully be plenty of custard, sticky toffee pudding, and scones with clotted cream.
If you're waiting till May for custard-covered desserts, you're definitely not living Jamie's British cooking ways. My favourite winter desserts are apple crumble with custard and jam sponge with custard. Very winter warming. (Ooh, I should see if I can attempt to make some apple crumble for after Christmas dinner.)
Jamie didn't actually make the custard during the cooking show, just poured it over a dessert he did make. I have no idea how to make English custard, and somehow it will just taste better in England anyway.
I only like custard as creme brulee.
I am buying myself a torch if I don't get one for Xmas; the broiler is ok for caramelizing, but the torch = excellent crispiness plus FIRE.
I got one as a hostess gift and it's fantastic. Flaming dessert technology.
