Thanks, everyone. I went to bed last night and slept fitfully thinking of her all night long. I'm at work because the thought of not being busy on something else is...well, not good. At least it's Friday and I can be in jeans and a hoodie and the kids are keeping my mind on other things.
I've been out of the abbey two days, I've beaten a lawman senseless, I've fallen in with criminals. I watched the captain shoot the man I swore to protect. And I'm not even sure if I think he was wrong.
