Hey, don't worry about it. Nest full of vampires, you come get me, okay. Box full of puppies, that's more of a judgement call.

Spike's Bitches 46: Don't I get a cookie?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

“Not dead yet!”

Colin is so universally awkward that he's barely discernable from American boys who do the same thing.

::snort:: True dat.

call me jacki; zuisa is an internet nick from ancient times =)

Colin's story is annoying and definitely my least favorite of the movie, but I find the movie overall just so charming. It makes me happy. And once in a while, that is absolutely sufficient criteria for my liking a movie.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

The storyline with Chiwetel Ejiofor is the one that sent my eyes crossing and hard.

And what's with all the carrots?

"I want a Hippopotamus for Christmas"

Love the song, AND have the shirt!

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

(I know I mention it a lot, but I really am having a hard time dealing. It's...not what I expected. Sorry for the whole "death likes carrots" thing.)

No need to be sorry, love. I wish that I could do something to make you feel better. Um . . . boobies?

“Not dead yet!”

It is annoying, but it fits within the spectrum of stories that Curtis was trying to tell. I'm just sad that the story of the school principal was cut for length.

brillig

I like U2's Baby, Please Come Home as Christmas music, and some of Trans-Siberian Orchestra's really bombastic stuff. I will claim my love of the '80s power ballad to my grave.

Aw, honey...I'm so there with you. Just yesterday, I 'saw' my beloved Kim driving down the road. I asked her a question and she answered with her characteristic energy. The fact that she died in September '09 doesn't seem to have diminished my need for her in my life.

Peace to your heart, balanced meds and every warm wish coming your way.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Steph, you still get Eartha Kitt singing "Santa Baby," which always makes me happy.

Y'all are reminding how much I hated the Colin Firth story line in Love Actually. Really, the only characters that redeemed that movie were Thompson and Rickman, but then I'd watch it again for them alone.

All is well that ends in pizza.

Rickman is always an excuse to watch a movie, even January Man.
