Whatever happened to the still beating heart of a virgin? No one has any standards anymore.

Spike's Bitches 46: Don't I get a cookie?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

And none of us deserving the cruelty or the grace -- Leonard Cohen

Aw, Chrismukkah! I need to break out my first season OC DVDs.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

I need to break out my first season OC DVDs.

I'm seriously thinking about buying an iTouch so I can rip TV DVDs to it to watch at the gym.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Oh, Elf! I loved that movie WAY more than I expected to.

“Not dead yet!”

Barb, oh, sorry, I should have specified - that was Dublin, CA! I was just in France for 3 weeks, but not Ireland. ;)

Oh well, d'uh. ::insert sheepish grin::

I knew you'd been in Europe and while I didn't think you were planning on going to Ireland, it was the only thing I could think of, since I didn't realize there's also a Dublin, CA. Although I do know Dublin, OH, but I really couldn't imagine any reason for you to be there.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Oh, Elf! I loved that movie WAY more than I expected to.

It was surprisingly great. I believe it I saw it on the same day we saw The Haunted Mansion, which was predictably terrible.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Scrooged is my OTHM.

So glad they got the fire in Israel under control but so saddened by all the losses.

What she said.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Scrooged is my OTHM.

Good choice. There are a surprising number of Scrooges that I enjoy: master of the universe prick Billy Murray, singing Albert Finney version, calm and reasonable in his pure dickishness George C. Scott, and the best conversion to giddy cheerfulness in Alistair Sim.

I might have to try the Muppet version.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

First season OC, natch. That season was a thing of unsuspected hilarity and touchingness.

brillig

The Bones Christmas ep, with stoned Booth and discovering who Angela's dad is. And, for long-time viewers, watching Zach with his family and wondering how they took the news of what happened to him.

I miss Dr. What's-His-Name, the first-year director.

That Bones ep totally made me cry.
