Do you see any goats around? No, because I sacrificed them.

Spike's Bitches 46: Don't I get a cookie?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Your trip sounds amazing, DJ. Thank you so much for sharing the memories with us as well.

I may need to add "bublic cervice" to my personal lexicon.

Me too, smonster, me too.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

smonster, let me know when/if you want early-morning wake-up calls to start again.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

That sounds yum, Hil. I wanted latkes but don't have any potatoes so I've shredded up a butternut squash with an apple, an onion and a small celery root. I think they'll be tasty.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Andi is probably at work thinking about leaving me fr warmer climes.

15 minutes warm-up time, and I still couldn't see through the frost on the windshield. Oh, well, don't really need to see to drive at that hour of the day. And it wouldn't be leaving you, if you would just come with me.

Mrs. Rakesh is a very lucky woman. She gets to marry into an awesome family with a very kind husband (who, it must be said, was very easy on the eyes).

May their marriage be blessed with the best blessings, and may their children be healthy, and as plentiful as they wish.

not your mom's socks.

First, the important stuff: we had a great day with JZ, Matilda, and PC. -t, Perkins, beth, and Nanita, we missed you! Second, Opi's sparklysilver holiday nail polish doesn't make the airport scanners mad. Third, please let the yelly toddler who yells be getting it all out of her system before we get on the plane?

Wishing everyone a happy and peaceful couple weeks! See you soon!

Thanks to y'all and your food talk, I spent $70 at the grocery store last night (!!). And today made marinated pork loin with ricestuff and green beans (for later), and baked a spaghetti squash and had some with tomato sauce.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Loving the India travel posts. DJ, you write a good trip.

The big bosses are in town this week for their quarterly pow-wow. One of the things they are going to be discussing is whether I get the promotion I proposed for myself. In order to best prepare for making my case intelligently and articulately, I had my nails done and colored my hair OF COURSE.
