I'm just, uh, just feeling kinda... truthsome right now. And, uh... life's just too damn short for ifs and maybes.

Spike's Bitches 46: Don't I get a cookie?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Thanks for the update, amyth. I can't imagine how scary that must be. I'm glad to hear he is doing as well as he is.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

Sending all my healing energy towards Pasadena.

In kitty cat news I have found a foster foster for Persey. We go to meet M today but every time I talk to the current foster, P, I feel like she is starting to cry. She does have two sisters in the hospital so it's probably not just Loss of Cat that is making her upset but I am planning to offer that maybe P and M can timeshare the cat and I can still visit for flea treatments and nail clippings and such.

Also reminder to Hamas: if you are going to complain that Israel violates international law don't commit war crimes yourself - like attacking civilians. OK Hamas won't read thism but ...

"And that's why God Almighty gave us fire insurance and the public defender".

Thanks, Typo and everyone. While I'm well acquainted with Frantz Fanon and agree with a hell lot of what he says, it's very difficult not to be worried, or say "we deserve this" when it's drive-by shooting and stones throwing at buses (I'm still very alerted and staying away from windows when the bus arrives to the place where occasionally they throw stones from - although it's a rare event) becomes a routine. Let's see if we'll have a quiet weekend.

omnis, pursue. That's an order from a shy woman who can use M-16. - Shir

I chatted with ND last night on the way home. As Pix said, slowly getting better. While not strong, he did sound in good spirits. Pix, please don't hesitate to ask for help. I'm just down the freeway.

Sigh. I should not try to operate an electric stove before I'm awake. Just turned on the wrong burner and didn't realize it for 20 minutes.
Yup. Been there, done that, and burned myself on the burner that was on. Gas is easier, it flames up right away, and you hear it.

My sistah! (Oh wait. I can also do that, wide awake. Am not good with "simple" things with too many buttons on).
computers? They have lots of buttons.

ION- Had a face-palm moment with boss this morning. We have these monthly xcel time sheets. I'm still new to this concept. I click the tab for the new month, but the sheet starts on the 6th, next monday. Boss has office right next door. "Um, boss, did your sheet start with the 6th instead of the first?" He comes into my office, sits down, looks at sheet, ponders, AND SCROLLS THE SHEET. D'oh! Why didn't I try that. It was just a smidge not all the way to the left. He laughed and said that would be a mistake he would make, being the non-computer guy that he is. Face+palm!

That's funny, omnis, and so something I have done. With spreadsheets I made myself.
