In oh holy jeebus news, part eleventy billion, our national writing organization now has their lawyers involved on my behalf as well.
She hadn't done anything with respect to me, but apparently, while either acting president or immediate past president of her local chapter, she started a competing writer's group. Now mind you, the national group has no issue with the members being affiliated with other groups, nor with them starting other groups, so it has to be the manner in which she did it, which, if I had to guess, she tried to pull off some sort of coup, using her influence as leadership of her local chapter (which is one of the largest in the country) in order to entice members away from the local chapter and over to her new group.
However she did it or whatever she did, she is definitely persona non grata with them-
Given her tactics, she probably tried to sue the national group for using the word "writers".

My dear Bitches, it has been a hellofa week. So I have been watching taped soaps and have consumed nearly a bottle of wine after not having any all week. (diet, blah) Since TGIF and all. And then I came in to do something, um not sure what, and checked my computer. And y'all just made me smile, once again.

Are you watching GH? I am right now. But only drinking hot tea. Lots and lots of annoying, boring, Iamsooverit, hot tea. (I would ask in Minearverse as it is the soap thread, but I am two behind on Terriers.)
I adore GH. My niece moved in to help me after Bobby was born and the very first time I watched GH was a nurses ball episode. I was confused by the singing and dancing in soaps things, but by end of week, hoooked. Not sure if I should curse or thank her.
Total crack tv. My usual rule is to only watch on the treadmill, so I haven't watched today, see above massive wine consumption. (you have no idea how long these posts take) But I did at least do my pool workout for 40 min before the wine. And it is cold! Lie mid 60s or something.
