I made this for dinner and it was nom. [link] Subbed whole milk for cream and regular cider for hard. I also roasted a bunch of pecans with blood orange jam, salt, pepper, brown sugar. Don't know why I'm all Suzy Homemaker tonight. Maybe I'll bring down my Hanukkah and Xmas decorations.
Yay Amy surgery! Boo big fire in Israel. Yay erin's job!
...that's all I've got. I want to be home. And don't go home til tomorrow night. And have a bunch of work to do on the weekend. Argh.

The chops look yummy, smonster. I tend to make a bunch of veggie goodness with meat on the side for my carnivorous family. Those look like something they would enjoy.
My muscles are tender. My workout in the pool was longer than usual because it is cold out and I didn't want to leave the water. I'm still wrinkled. This sudden burst of winter is neat. Windows are open with temps to go into the low 50s at night. Same thing for another week. By then I will be ready for it to be warm again. Winter is ok for an occasional visit, but I don't want it to move in.
Do you guys remember the youtube video from the lady who was trying to warn the Obama administration about the upcoming lizard people invasion? I wanted to show it to D but now I can't find it.

Somehow, I feel the need for a gavel and declare a motion passed or something.
Today was a bit better. Only 2km walked, which is on the normal side. Got home on the "early" side (7pm). ate dinner. Fell asleep in the chair by 9pm. Woke up for Daily Show. And now brain is wide awake. The show report for the dance says opening was perfect! woot. Still can't wait for Dec 11th. 'Comp time' is my new mantra.
