I know, world in peril and we have to work together. This is my last office romance, I'll tell you that.

Spike's Bitches 46: Don't I get a cookie?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I hate to see the death of nice pianos, but if the poor thing is past its prime, there are worse fates than this

omnis, pursue. That's an order from a shy woman who can use M-16. - Shir

Is it Dec 11th yet? Please! Quick post. Just when I thought things were slowing down, they are still fast paced. Tonight is opening on the dance show, tomorrow opening on the opera. And yes, I walked nearly 5k yesterday! Didn't realize it while doing it, but it explains why I passed out so quick in the chair last night, and why my legs are sore today. Oy.

OK, off to work.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

I got no words.

How awful.

Energy~ma, omnis.

I have spent the day trying to clear through clutter and I seemed to have managed to make more clutter.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

sj, sometimes you have to create chaos to get to order

"And that's why God Almighty gave us fire insurance and the public defender".

Over 10,000 were told to leave their homes tonight.

At least two places, a town and a kibbutz were burned to the ground.

I can't remember anything like this. Thank God, friends and family are fine, and were offered a place to stay.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

That's terrible, Shir. I'm so sorry.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Shir, that's horrible! I'm so sorry.

And none of us deserving the cruelty or the grace -- Leonard Cohen

Oh Shir, so sorry.

Knee surgery went well. It was at 7:20 a.m., and I was waking up (for a value of awake) by 8:30. My first memory is of my ortho leaning over me saying, "It's a good thing we did this. It was a mess in there. Now we need to talk about your other knee." WHAT.

I had been hoping to spend the day catching up here and elsewhere online, and entertaining you all with highlarious painkiller-fueled posts, but I'm so sleepy I can't stay awake for more than a few minutes at a time. Percocet Party me will have to wait until tomorrow, I think.
