Yep, we're handling a bit of "OMG tomorrow's a new fiscal year and we have to get these eleven-billionty things signed right now!" panic at my office, too. We're not part of a university, but we sort of budded off of one, and it looks like the chronology stuck.
My thought - this year, at least - is "it's July 1 and I'm off tomorrow! I have a FOUR-day weekend!"

Me too. I just came back from a five-day vacation, and I so need another one. One that doesn't end, preferably. With pay.

meara, be careful what you ask for ... we're coming out of 18 days in a row of temperatures over 90 ... with the typical DC humidity. It's hit 100 several times THIS WEEK. bleah
