Spike: Heard what happened up top, offing your dad and all. Don't know if you know this, but, uh…I killed my mum. Actually, I'd already killed her, and then she tried to shag me, so I had to-- Wesley: Thank you. I'm…very comforted.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Hey you guys! Happy birthday, JZ!

I was on a Lufthansa plane earlier, and the pilot kept giving updates on the Germany-England game. Good times. I have many many posts to read (or, more likely, skim/p), but am home from vacation. I've been up for almost 22 hours at this point (with a little nap on the plane), but am hoping to stay awake until evening, if not night....

Because books.

Welcome home, Jesse!

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Maria, lots of no-big-deal~ma headed y'all way.

I totally zonked for a couple of hours, and now I am gronked. Kind of screws my plans for the day, alas, so now I need to figure out what absolutely has to get done. Grocery shopping and fixing dinner is next, methinks.

Compassionately intolerant

Felicitations on your natal day JZ. The world is prettier, wiser and clever...er...for having you in it.

Weather.com tells me it 'feels like' 104 outside.

I'll tell you what it feels like! It feels like, thank GOD for air conditioning. That's what it feels like.

I suppose that reads like sarcasm but it is, every degree, sincere.

Because books.

I'm hot and really bored and completely inert today, and now it's annoying me. But moving away from the fan seems unwise.

I'm thinking something on Hulu and possibly nail-painting.

Maria, all kinds of ~ma for your mom. I hope everything's all right.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

I'm recovering from the match with the new IT Crowd. Is this where I line up to say that Moss is ridiculously hot?

"We're all stories, in the end. Just make it a good one, eh?"

I know. Who saw that coming?!

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

The packing is all organized now. Contents listed on a document, boxes labeled, room to unload in is marked. I've only packed 2 new boxes this far today, but what I've done has empties shelves and drawers.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

the pilot kept giving updates on the Germany-England game

I had to call the 800 number for one of my bank accounts (they sent me an ATM card and claimed they'd send me a PIN via a separate mailing, but I never received it [or possibly -- most likely -- did receive it and forgot a PIN was forthcoming, and shredded the mail without opening it (yes, I do that a lot)]) to ask them to send me my PIN (again).

The call center sounded like it was in India, and the representative on the phone had a musical accent between (some type of) Indian and British. Anyway, to refer back to Jesse's post, every time he had to wait for the computer to spit out the necessary info, he started telling me about the really exciting moments in the England-Germany game, and how since England is out now, he's rooting for Argentina.

When we got off the phone I told him I hoped Argentina won it all.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

The ice cream shop down the street from me sells an "Icy Tea" which is iced tea with two scoops of lemon sorbet instead of ice cubes. It is heavenly, and the only thing currently preventing me from melting into a puddle on the thousand-degree floor.

Golly, Jess, I hope THE BABY likes it!!!!!!!!

Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!1!!!!!!!

Right on, little mama!
