We have to see the chimp playing hockey! That's hilarious! The ice is so slippery, and, and monkeys are all irrational. We have to see this!

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

When he gets home I'll ask him to put his hand in a box for me.

Dude, TMI.

I need to do a whole crap ton of work today, and clean some of my house, and make up a lease for my new roommate and have him sign it, and go to the bank, and give new roommate a key, and pack for a wedding, and fly to Chicago.

This weekend I'm a bridesmaid in a wedding. Instead of going to Pride. Sad.

"What kind of magical sunshine and lollipop world do you live in? Because you need to be medicated."-SFist

Huh. Woke up with a very mild case of vertigo. I'm thinking ear infection?

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

I don't know any of those folks, but I could maybe hit that.

Midtown Dickens is adorable laid-back fun, and I haven't seen them recently. They have a silly song about playing Tetris. [link]

OMG, how Joan Holloway out on the town is this dress? [link]

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

I want msbelle's weekend. Instead I am grading. wah. And? Jury duty next week. Not fun.

That said I'm sure the weekend will have lots of fun activities, just none that I can predict ahead of time. Maybe swimming at the Y?

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

So far today, I have managed to spill coffee on myself.

That's enough for one day, right?

On the topic of disturbing cat sounds, as I was geting into bed last night, Dita had what I am hoping is her version of a hairball--20 minutes of wheezing and hacking REALLY LOUDLY. She is totally fine, but really really not what you want to hear in a newly dark room.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

I can't click on that link at work.

This weekend I am tonight having dinner with my parents (I'm leaning toward the vegetarian Indian place on Oak Lawn), Saturday, brunch with parents (probably Blue Goose up the street from the house because it is close an oh so yum) then Wicked matinee followed by backstage tour. Sunday I will clean more and sleep even more than that.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

really really not what you want to hear in a newly dark room.

Did you check inside all your shoes?

I wonder if I could find cowboy boots this weekend? Google pointed me to an expensive store and a vintage store in WeHo. I might give it a shot. Or I could lie around and think about bread.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

I wear tees under several very thin cotton peasant type shirts for summer work Fridays, also tees under wrap top dress, under v or scoop neck dresses. It probably doesn't always look so fashionable, but in the last few years, I am more more bothered by being flashy.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

Today I have flowy, long white cotton skirt, navy cami, gauzy white and navy pinstriped button up with a brown belt and brown heels.
