Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

You know what's cool about lingonberries? They're only one letter away from being Klingonberries.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I want to be able to go outside and pick a bowl of bacon. With cheesy potatoes.

"What kind of magical sunshine and lollipop world do you live in? Because you need to be medicated."-SFist

My Dad grew strawberries, raspberries, and blueberries, and we had black raspberries growing wild. I only realize now how spoiled I was. No blackberries though.

Like, pick from a bacon tree?

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

olallieberries

There's a place in Pescadero (Duarte's Tavern) that has the best olallieberry pie. So delicious.

I miss the Bay Area.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

The olallieberry (pronounced oh-la-leh, sometimes spelled ollalieberry, olallaberry, olalliberry, ollalaberry or ollaliberry) is a cross between the loganberry and the youngberry, each of which is itself a cross between blackberry and another berry (raspberry and dewberry, respectively).

THIS IS A PERVERSION OF FRUIT.

...Mendel would be so proud.

A crispy hot bacon tree. I'd give up the Francophone priest scenario from yesterday for this.

Because books.

A warm bread tree might be first choice for me. Although cheese is also tempting.

Less so when I think about picking it off a tree, but still.

Okay, in my fantasy world the priest with the thigh holster is delivering it to me, but I don't want to appear choosy.

Always Anti-fascist!

Man...I saw the Wire signal, but missed my chance being all scrupulous...Sheeit. It took me about four episodes before I wanted to watch more, but it didn't really*have* me until "I got the gun...you got the briefcase." Now I would watch David Simon bitch out the cable man. And probably cry at the end. We got it like that. (My fondest broadcasting wish= David Simon on "Countdown" Ego Shortage on Eastern Seaboard, Boehner, GOP, Blame Obama)
