Really? What's in it for him?
Plausible deniability? "See, I can still be the romantic interest of a woman in a movie."
I made a Spanish Torta tonight, as we had an abundance of eggs and potatoes and garlic and onions lying about.
Very tasty. And pretty.
Isn't David Bowie pretty clearly bisexual? Or has he not actually had a public relationship with a man? (you do not want to know how many times I looked at this to make sure I did not type "pubic")
Alan Cumming has had at least two LTR's with women that I know of, so I can imagine that at the time he was in them, he liked/loved/had sex with the women, which , even if he is entirly into men now (which is just speculation) he may not want to negate his previous experience
Thanks to three different kinds of lettuce is our first CSA box, we were inspired to make lettuce wraps tonight. NUMMY!!! I still have small leaf lettuce and some long leaf lettuce, plus a bunch of spinach. (Ate all the butter lettuce already - also got parsley and cilantro - a very green CSA week). I ran the idea of spinach quiche by the kids and was vetoed. Will have to come up with another idea.
Kelly just took off with CJ for Baskin Robin's sundaes. I have key lime pie for my sweet treat.

Have you
seen
Alan Cumming? Stating he's bi isn't going to overcome the hurdle. He's fey and he dresses up like a woman at the drop of a hat. Someone who's so willing to mess with expectations of masculinity, I figure they've lost what they're going to lose in the eyes of the public already--and bi men seem to have less cachet than gay men.
It just seems weird.
And I don't know if it's worked for Alan--I can't remember the last time I saw him lock lips with a lady onscreen.
Randomly (well, not really, considering the Solstice): here's the cast of the 1969 RSC production of Midsummer Night's Dream (which was also filmed and put out in theaters).
Derek Godfrey as Theseus
Ian Holm as Puck, or Robin Goodfellow
Judi Dench as Titania
Helen Mirren as Hermia
Paul Rogers as Bottom
Diana Rigg as Helena
Ian Richardson as Oberon
David Warner as Lysander
Didn't Robert Downey Jr. come out as bi years ago? I know he's married now, but in my experience that tends to be true of most bisexual men past a certain age.
Really? I never knew that.
I like Alan Cumming's Rahm impression on the Good Wife.

I vividly remember seeing that on PBS! I think it pushed me over the edge to pursuing theatre as a profession. Didn't work out, but I loved while it lasted.
