"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

ION, I just summoned up the last dregs of my sick energy to take out the trash, which I thought the SO had forgotten on his way out to pick up our work team from Albuquerque. I gathered all the various containers into a bag and took the bag out and the trash can to the street. Whereupon I noticed that both of my neighbors were home. Odd for a Monday. Except it isn`t Monday; it`s Sunday, I`ve just been sick so long I`ve completely lost touch with the outside world. So the SO didn`t forget, and I just totally wasted what little energy I do have. It sucks to be missing the day camp the team is putting on but that`s clearly the right call. With my brane this fuzzy who knows what I might have said to them.

And I should know it`s Sunday because new Leverage tonight, whoo! I am scheduling my pill taking around being conscious for the show. Oh, The Hair, how I have missed you. I make little blinky morse code signals with my keychain black light in your honor, Hardison. Come back to me Show!

Perkins, do you have a Comcast cable? I'm not sure with cable card tv's, but if you can connect the cable at all to the tv, you can sometimes auto tune directly from the cable without a box. It won't catch all the channels, but it may surprise you by getting USA...

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

Even though I slept in WAYYY late, D. still hadn't eaten yet (he got the new Mario-whatever game last night for Father's Day) and I was able to make the French toast, sausages, and a fruit cup (strawberries and peaches from farmer's market yesterdat, YUM...Oooh, and I found out the Farmer's Market in OPKS, about 2 miles from our house is ALSO open Wed. AM. So I can get fruit and veg midweek after I drop M. off at camp!)

Yay! And the kitchen is clean -- so I can mess it up again making pot roast, whatev -- and the guys are watching various geeky BuildDestroy things on TV, so I can get some housework done in a bit.

It's really nice out; I think I may mow the front lawn as an addition Father's Day prezzie, since I am kinda tapped out moneywise.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

For Hec: Great moments in alternate history: the golden age of zeppelin

If I've learned anything from Alternate History fiction, it's that in 90% of all alternate universes are timelines where A.) Hitler won WWII; or B.) people fly zeppelins instead of planes. Today we'll explore the latter.

Watching Brazil-Cote d'Ivoire is killing me, maybe I should replay the awesome New Zealand goal of this morning.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

Ha! I just called my parents to wish Dad a happy Father's Day, and Mom said "We're at Ben Franklin Crafts. Is there anything you need me to pick up?" My parents know me well.

Perkins, do you have a Comcast cable?

We tried that, but it didn't work, sadly.

hip deep in pie

Another mostly sunny day, another day spent indoors with the curtains drawn. Stupid brain.

Sophia, I am the opposite of you. I rarely lock my door when I am home and awake, but always when I am out.

I have been watching a Holmes Inspection marathon all day (new show after Holmes on Holmes.) I want them to come and reno my kitchen.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

I am at a birthday party with mac, another friend of his that I do not like.

They just had the girls dancing for the birthday boy and he eliminated them one by one based on who they thought was best and of course they were hootchie dancing by the end. 9 YEARS OLD!

No one is speaking english except to me either. I wish I could leave.

Omg really really loud music for musical chairs.
