In your honor, I threw a party for Dylan. (Okay, so it was mostly a coincidence. But still, I did throw a party today and is IS your birthday!) It was the lowest-key party I could manage, and I am wiped. Fortunately the grandparents are taking everyone to dinner tonight so I can spend the rest of the afternoon slounging on the couch.

ION, this is weird. I got stung by a bee last Saturday. Hurt a lot for ten minutes - took ibuprofin and the pain went away over the next hour. No swelling.
So last night, the finger starts swelling, and still is swollen today. No pain, but if I try to bend that finger at the first knuckle I can feel the skin all tight.
wtf is up with this six day delayed swelling?
