This money, it is too much. You should have some small refund.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

sarameg, could the cats be snitching them to use for toys? (check under the cabinets and refrigerator)

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

This is not me at all. Not in the least. Nope. Nuh-uh.

I'm guilt-spiraling right now AIFS!

Omg, that is SO me. Right down to what several people said in the comments about doing the grocery shopping and then having it rot in the fridge because you had all these grown up healthy plans for real food and cooking which didn't happen cause you ran out of grownup energy.

Possibly, though it usually lives in my bag. and I don't *think* I accidentally dumped it recently. It might be at work.

OK, shutting down now.

Been there, done that...have a composter full of rotting vegetables to show for it.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

We have two bunches of asparagus in the fridge. I don't know why.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

Saw this on one of my other boards, thought I'd share:

An Atheists 10 Commandments.

1) Do not do to others what you would not want them to do to you.

(2) In all things, strive to cause no harm.

(3) Treat your fellow human beings, your fellow living things, and the world in general with love, honesty, faithfulness and respect.

(4) Do not overlook evil or shrink from administering justice, but always be ready to forgive wrongdoing freely admitted and honestly regretted.

(5) Live life with a sense of joy and wonder.

(6) Always seek to be learning something new.

(7) Test all things; always check your ideas against the facts, and be ready to discard even a cherished belief if it does not conform to them.

(8) Never seek to censor or cut yourself off from dissent; always respect the right of others to disagree with you.

(9) Form independent opinions on the basis of your own reason and experience; do not allow yourself to be led blindly by others.

(10) Question everything.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

That's a cool list. Although possibly I fail at #3 by eating meat.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Our wings are not tired.

Wow. Someone just summarized my own personal mantra. Applause! Thanks for that, Vortex.

Tommy, not at all. You can love and respect animals, and slaughter them humanely and still be following these Commandments.
