Hey, I've been in a firefight before! Well, I was in a fire. Actually, I was fired from a fry-cook opportunity. I can handle myself.

Punishingly Intricate

My only horse is my pool, which red card dude hopefully has not blown.

My pool draw was Algeria so...Bob's is Brazil, though! We're hoping to pay for the wedding with our winnings!

the use of the (non) word "skiddish" to mean "skittish". It is driving me crazy

Who did that??? Smack 'em!

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

My tires became very skiddish after I let the tread wear out on them.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

megan, I have a song in English about your Not Board Name. But it's not a great song so I have not forwarded it.

I have a new pet peeve-- the use of the (non) word "skiddish" to mean "skittish". It is driving me crazy

Is this in writing, because that's essentially how I pronounce "skittish". Blame the Coneddicut accent.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

In writing- I say skiddish, too!

Is it sung by Harry Belafonte? Because, despite my love for him, that sh*t is stupid.

Nope. Some British folk rock group named Forest.

Just found msbelle's real name in a song by Flo and Eddie. It's prominently featured in the chorus and everything.

Well, if anyone's going to sing about my name, I guess it makes sense that they are named Forest.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Dana, did you just file a self-employed tax form? The .gov site is telling me I need to file for licenses and permits, register for taxes. I feel like for just me, I shouldn't have to do all that.

Yeah, my income was reported on a 1099 and I filed a schedule C with my 1040. I had no expenses, so it was very straightforward. But if you do this, you'll probably want to look into paying quarterly taxes, and make sure to bump up your rate to cover the self-employment tax.

Also, there's a savings plan you can establish as a self-employed person and contribute to, tax-free. If you're going to be contracting for any length of time, I'd look into that.
