Well, Obama gave his first Oval Office address to the nation re: the BP spill, and he wasn't as forceful as KO would have wanted. Since they film TDS before the speech was broadcast, Jon went after him for all of the various promises he made during the campaign to halt the multiple Constitutional violations which he has not only not halted but has continued. He ended up comparing Obama to Frodo with presidential power being the Ring, and Gollum waiting to snatch said power is Sarah Palin.

Just back from seeing South Pacific. I knew all of the songs, of course, but I don't think I've ever seen it. So racist as to be boggling. Not the she was colored part, but the Bloody Mary part.
Boggle.
Great sets though.

I can`t believe all y`all are still in school. We`ve been out for weeks. Of course I spent all of that sick so it`s kind of a haze and not nearly as enjoyable as I`d hoped.
I don`t want sewer in my taxes because I don`t get any. Yay septic tank and leach lines. Which means since I`m doing my own wastewater treatment I`m hyper aware of what I put down the drains, since I don`t want chemicals on my lawn. My water bill is about $18/month for about 1500 gallons of use. Power is about $70/month for about 600 kWh, and propane is harder to define because it`s periodic. Maybe $75/month? Plus about three cords of wood over the winter.
Just stopped by the solar place and prices have come way down for solar electric. Would love to go that way soon.
