Oh, that hurts.
Dean would be happy to teach you, I bet. He's a giver like that.
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, pandas, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.

So apparently he'll be back in ten minutes. I suppose he won't be happy, but hey! He said he was going to be down at my desk 40 minutes ago. As not happy goes, I totally win.
And I was so hoping not to have to take pain meds tonight.

The normal desk lock is pretty easy to open with a paper clip, since you only have to make it turn a quarter turn to disengage the piece of metal that holds the drawer shut. Sometimes the lock never works right again, though.

I agree with Ginger. Also, it is pretty easy to use a creidt card to open a door, once you have loosened the doorframe with a screwdriver. The card AND the door are often never the same.
You honestly think I didn't try?
Whew! He showed up! And I'm outtie. Only an hour late.
I tried the IT Crowd a few times because my brother loves it. I just couldn't get into it.
This thread is making me so sad.
Fortunately, the fourth series of The IT Crowd starts in a couple of days.
So many fireflies out, it's like a fairyland.
My competitive streak got the better of me in the pool tonight. I basically started trying to keep up with/beat the guy with flippers in the lane next to me. For the last 30 of 45 laps I was doing (his was only 30!) I think that's the fastest pace I've ever maintained for that long. My shoulder were burning.
Entering or leaving my house is comical due to Loki's attempts to get out. Half the time I have to drop everything and run down the steps after him. But he's really cute right now.
Hee for competitiveness. One of the many reasons we installed the airlock was Biscuit containment issues. It is so much easier to, for example, receive a package from UPS with him sadly behind the closed interior door while I open the exterior door.
Well, we survived the conference. I am still horking up a lung but only periodically. The SO went to the walk-in clinic today and was diagnosed with a sinus infection which is why he keeps getting sick over and over. So hopefully the antibiotics will knock it out.
Our part of the event was sort of woeful. The group we were hooking up with got lost on their way back from Canyon du Chelly and were an hour late. Then there was dinner and a meeting with all the folks and that ran long. So we didn`t get set up or soundchecked that night, making it a total waste of time for us who were there on time and had already eaten.
Sat. we got over there, but half the sound wasn`t ser up because we hadn`t been there. So our load in and sound check ran right up to performance time so we didn`t get to rehearse over half the material. But thankfully we`re ok with winging it and made it through both of our sets Sat. 7 Sun. fine. Would`ve been better with rehearsal but ok. (Splitting for phone posting capabilities.)
