Our wings are not tired

That is just torture. Though even if I could get my hands on that I can't have any until I have my gall bladder surgery.

I am pretty sure I've said this before, but some things bear repeating - you can now get Graeter's at Krogers in the deep south - definitely Atlanta and North GA and Alabama and I think SC too. It's $5 a pint and worth it.

Sneak preview of Glenn Beck's first novel. [link] I was going to say favorite part was the top-secret meeting with everybody's names on the catering order, but then I got to the end of the article and read the Star Wars part, and I cannot stop giggling.

It sounds very entertaining.

Oh man. A 5 way and a Coney sounds like heaven.

Worst. Fucking. Part. of being gluten-free is no 5-ways and no coneys.

Bowl of chili, my ass.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

McFarlane dicked Gaiman around big time with creation rights, royalties, verbal and/or written agreements not to further infringe on characters and so on. So far as I've ever heard or seen, Gaiman goes out of his way to be gracious and fair, and for him to pursue a case like that, there has to be flagrant and grievous dickery on McFarlane's part.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

Our fucking basement flooded last night. We had 5" of rain. I discovered this when I ran downstairs an hour ago to throw in a load of work clothes for my summer classes, which start tonight in an hour.

I have to be teaching class in an hour, and M. comes for the summer on Thursday, and my sleep sched is totally fucked up; I went to bed at 9:30 am, got up at 3:30.

GRRRRRR.
